2-2

TEAM: Ebrahim, Mohamed, Yasir, Adam, Ishy Wadee, Mohamed Ali, Ishy Chotia
SUBS: Fayaz, Zuber, Saeed

Match report by: Ishy Chotia

Zuber came 5mins late and replaced ebrahim at halftime, by which time we were 2-1 down! Slack defending where Muji went on a run, had a shot - mohamed blocked it but we didnt pressurise their player who scored. Then a decent move, led to ishy wadee firin one in to the corner - nokeeper wud hv saved it! He also wants me to mention th crunchin tackle he put in in the first half - his first of the season! sorry my mistake, his first ever!!!!!!

Then Adam (their team!) scored a low drive from the edge of the area to make the score 2-1. Again crap defendin as a team (4 against 2) no markin!!!! well we pressed and we pressed without doin anything really, final ball needs sortin out and crunch tackles and aggression (yes mentioned again!) need to exist!!! lucky late undeserved equaliser but thats footi!!! ishy wadee claimin it so 2-2 it was!!!!!

ishy chotia got punchd - noone saw it and he didnt mention it!!! not wot we wana c in footi!!!

Match Report v Withnell

MATCH REPORT v WITHNELL (18 Sep) 5-1 WIN

By YASIR

TEAM: Zuber, Mohamed (wudnt be in if wasn’t bestmate!), Yasir (defensive superstar!), Fayaz (all teams need warriors…and he aint one!), Ish Wadee (need a clown on pitch!), Saeed (felt sorry4him!), Ebrahim (brotherly lov!)

SUBS: YASIN (the rock…on th bench!), Amin (ummm….)

Ok here goes….1st goal ws very early prob within 5mins, a typical QPT move – from zuber to ish wadee on th left, to me, Mohamed, ep one two wit fayaz and bang! Ep scores. Did I miss anyone out??? Or yeah saeed…he didn’t get a touch in th move – no wonder we scored!!!!! We held on in th first half evn though i felt they had more possession and worked out our major weakness – lack of physical presence and unwillingness to put a crunchin tackle in (basically need to get stuck in!) they used it to their advantage, pressin us all th way to our defense, became hard to get ball out but wen we did we created some good move. Don’t recall any major chances…but do rememba we had chances to play some decisive thru balls which we missed. Oh yeah…fayz got injured tryin to run pass 6men (for the 5th time!) Broke his nose it was later confirmed….one plus point lad – u mite get more birds now!!!

Anyway…2nd half same team – told evry2 to get stuck in and not lose ball. So within first 5min they take a loose ball off us and nearly scored – thanks to zuber we wer stil winning. He pulled off about 3/4 superb superb saves – wen hes in th mood he’s one of the best goin. First 15m in 2nd half we were graftin but too “scared” to keep possession and play some quick passes, reluctant to put tackles in (yep iv said it again!!!) and stopped trackin!!!!!

Oh yeah…zuber played a misplaced long pass to me…went past me and the plonker of a defender who fell over and fayaz slammed it in (mishit!?!?! Nah he meant it) 2-0. fayaz went off soon after….amin came on. Another long ball by zuber, meant it this time and ish wade taps it in (uv don that a few times haven’t u ish!?!?) anyways….3-0 we’re cruising. Corner, amin ASKED for ball so played it him, obviously didn’t expect it, defender clears – Mohameds ball…oh no he’s decided to come up too!! STAY BAK MATE…I’ll do the sammer/koeman/lothar runs!!! And they score a one on one…….THANKS MOHAMED!! (have I brainwashed evry1 enuv to blame Mohamed for that goal?!?!)

Then we started usin zuber – usin our heads lads – I like it. But we did mess up once or twice. Hes left footed, play it to his left!!!!! And I gave him a chest which ummmmm totally bounced off!!!!! Ha!!!!!!!! 4-1 was it ishy who scored??? And ep wit a deflected one 5-1! Flatterin but we’ll take it.

MOM =

Saeed I thought was awesome in midfield – jokin aside, ur makin that position ur own – HUMMER!!!!

Mohamed – was refs man of match – solid and carried me at times (wen I ws lost!!)

But for me it has to be out local teddy – Zuber – would have been 1-1 or behind if it wasn’t for some great saves!!! (better come Thursday!!!!)

2games left – thurs at 8 and fri at 9 – lets finish season off well. THESE LADS WERE 3 POINTS FROM TOP!!! So come on we know we’re good enuv. If ur not gona get stuck in don’t turn up!! Actually com and support us!!!

SUBS: Yasin, Amin

Targets:

GET STUCK IN!!!!!!

If there’s 6 players in front of you….dont try takin them all on! (FAYAZ!!!!!) ur allowed to pass it back (liverpool style and then long ball!)

Match Report v Withnell

DEZCOM QPT V WITHNELL FC

TEAM = EBZ, MOHAMMED, USAMA, SAEED, ADAM, ISMAIL W, ISMAIL C.

SCORE 4 - 1 WON

MOM = YASIN MAYAT

A good start by the team this week, a very young but talented bunch of lads lead by Nakhuda & Ebrahim showed what the real deal is. After 2 poor results in the previous weeks, of which 1 was just unacceptable, It was no screwing about but just football played to win. Even being out muscled by the oppositions, their was good heart showed by the lads especially ISMAIL WADEE with a few crunchers in the first half – (don’t worry Saeed and Adam, we saw you aswell giving it your all). The midfield trio were clicking brilliantly with Adam and Saeed also working very hard and Ismail Chots dropping to assist the midfield with more options. A lot of good football was played and lots of chances created, and then Ishy chotia 1-0. Withnell did push and press on us after the goal was scored but the lads controlled the game brilliantly till half time.

Second half started off from where we left, even though we moved pitches it didn’t make a difference. The lads pushed on and ishy got himself a second goal. Withnell kept attacking us and also created chances and got themselves a goal, which ive got to say was well worked by them, but the lads didn’t drop their heads and kept on playing good football. Even though we just conceded, the lads moved the ball around verry very good. Ishy Chotia had a few good chances on goal which just didn’t go in for him, but he kept pushing and got his third goal in and made it 3-1. Even with 10 mins to play yet the lads got their fourth through Saeed, a simple ball played to Mohammed by Usama and he thought he was ronaldo and went down that wing and BLOODY SMASHED the ball towards goal thinking YES HAS TO BE A GOAL, but MY man SAEED popped out of nowhere and made sure it ended up in back of net, ha ha Nakhuda… good effort lad.

Now came on the subs and had a run about by then the game was wrapped up, but we still created chances one which I should have scored. Yasin had a good run out considering the size of them oppositions, didn’t let them pass at all doing the job he is good at (moping up for final whistle).

Well done everyone, that was a very good performance considering we lost last week very unfortunately. What we need to do is play like this week in week out and for the whole game. We played good football on the ground involving short simple passes which had us moving the ball around the pitch neatly and made use of every player in creating chances, not as many long balls as usual, and that gave us opportunities with the ball and no waste of possession. If you remember last week the long balls WE played were all against us, we lost nearly ALL of them. We did have 1 or 2 blips but it came out in our favour, ( remember the back heel from that mountain up front, and the goal). Just that little bit more concentration lads. Nakhuda, Usama and Ebrahim well done keeping the back sorted, couldn’t have done it without you.

Match Report v FC Audley

Dez Com QPT vs Mullas

Score : 2 – 3 (lost, again)
Conditions : Wet, with a missing floodlight on pitch
4!
MOM : Ishy Wadee

The team didn’t have any time to warm up and it showed
when we were shocked by a goal in the first minute.
Not the bright start we expected, Goggy controlled the
long ball feigning Usama to get to his favourite left,
and hammering a shot into the top corner of the net.
Awful start but we soon picked up play with some
decent passing with a few chances, but like in
previous games there was no real penetration. The
half ended 1-0 and the defence was solid, with the
team working hard in general.

The second half started brightly and again the defence
was superb, and attacking wise Ishy Wadee started
dribbling with the ball with QPT enjoying plenty of
possession until…a long range effort from way out
lofted in. The shot was on the blind side of Zuber
and really was an injustice to the balance of the
game. We then made a substitution with Mo Ali
replacing Hasan Lambat and he made an instant impact
by scoring. Usama found himself on the right byline
and crossed to the near post where Mo Ali pounced to
get QPT back into the game, the shot only squeezed
through the front post but they all count! We then
scored a second when Fayaz released Van Nakhuda down
the right wing for a one touch pass to Ishy Wadee who
confidently finished from a yard out. 2-2 and game on.

Zuber made a couple of saves whilst QPT pushed on and
QPT nearly won the game after Ebrahim emphatically hit
the post. Seconds later and Ebrahim inadvertently put
the ball into an open net – an unfortunate own goal
which was cruel, really cruel after an outstanding
game. Let's blame the missing floodlight!

So, another loss but even though we played this match
without the likes of Amin, Saeed and Chotia (oh and
Yasin!) it was better than previous weeks against a
decent side. Slow start which didn’t help but good
spirit to show determination for a fight back. Roll
on to the final games of the season.
